Roger Pinckney along with the Evening Post Publishing Company will celebrate the release of Pinckney's new novel, Reefer Moon, from 1 pm to 8:30 pm Saturday, July 11th, on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. The celebration will take place at Freeport Landing and will feature Lowcountry cooking, the Anon Dixon Day Blues Band with ir.-Rev. John, a cash bar, and souvenir Reefer Moon t-shirts and hats.

Boats to Daufuskie Island will depart from Broad Creek Marina, off Marshland Road, in Hilton Head at 11:35 am, 1:45 pm, 4 pm. The last boat returning to Hilton Head from Daufuskie will depart at 8:30 pm. Round trip tickets can be purchased for $20. Call 843-342-8687 for reservations. Limited free dockage for private boats.
